“One thing I learned by pursuing this project is the importance of sharing resources and ideas, not just in regards to standardized testing, but also in general. For example, after I shared my idea for this project with my boss at Masa, a non-profit tutoring organization, she came up with some middle schools that I could share my document with. However, one pivot I had to make in my project was related to the donation of physical SHSAT prep books. My original idea was to donate test prep books to NY public libraries, but when I realized that was not something I could do, I decided that I would just donate directly to schools.”
